Airline Food for the Hungry

>> Wednesday, October 4, 2017

I don't usually buy meals onboard the plane, but this meal I pre booked, knowing that it will be difficult for me to get breakfast at a very early time at the airport.

I ordered the Chicken Rice because I love Chicken Rice, ever since I tried it in Singapore.  But airline food is different from what we get from hawker centers or from restaurants. It is just to help a passenger get by a hungry phase while traveling, at least to me, that is the case.

I couldn't say I enjoyed it, but, yes, it has made me full on that part of the journey.. It was not something I would look forward to eating again, but maybe if I have no choice again, I would. I didn't like the other varieties, so I really do not have a choice, do I?

Lay over and Hungry

Thank goodness for the AgroBazaar.. a taste of Malaysia at the airport, as I wait for the check in counter to open.. hahaha..

I actually just arrived from Cebu, and I needed to have lunch. Thankfully, I found the money exchange counters, though it took me a while to do so. And when I finally did, I had to find a quiet place to order my very late lunch..

So here's Beef and Chicken Satay, as requested with the very yummy peanut sauce..

And Te Tarik to go with it..

After a few bites, I was able to take a picture of some parts of the AgroBazaar..

I could have bought a few more items, but I have to control my luggage weight as I already knew beforehand that I was carrying more than seven kilos hand carry.. hahaha..

Before I left, I bought one of each kind of the available Samosa.. will have a separate post for them..
