The Pain Reliever Quest

>> Thursday, September 30, 2010

So Liza wants to buy tramadol online without a prescription, and Garry suggested a new site that is not common to Liza. It's just that she can not access her sites, you know, the ones that she gave us earlier. It says, down for maintenance.  Hahaha.. All in the name of tramadol without prescription, and since she can not buy said medication here in the Philippines, Liza will just need to buy tramadol online no prescription for her greater relief.. Whew..

It seems so stressful just thinking about it..  I wish it were as easy as finding food.. But, it's not.. I recommended some local name brands and even gave her a few more to try, but still, she could not be as comfortable as I with using them. She just wants her Tramadol..

Liza's Pain Reliever

>> Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Liza arrived from the US and called for a dinner date over the weekend. We talked for a couple of hours and she was telling me about the pain reliever she uses every time she feels at pain. Knowing that I live my life online most of the time, she told me to check out the websites, tramadol.sh, tramadol.ac and tramadol.io where information about Tramadol is abundant.

Hearing my friend complain about pain, I took notice that what she is recommending is actually beneficial for all. I also learned that there are two kinds of Tramadol. One with no prescription necessary, while another one needs a doctor's prescription to be made available.

Anyway, I am now thinking of what to bring for teh dinner this weekend. Yes, Liza will be hosting the dinner, but we always manage to bring something with us. The last time we had dinner was two years ago, and I made some desserts for everyone. Well, it was an easy recipe of Leche Flan, and the eggs were really fresh.  Everyone raved about it, so this time, it should be more delicious than the last time. I just do not know what to prepare. Any suggestions?

ICE FOR SALE

It's so hot here in the Philippines. So if you are selling an infrared heater, I tell, go somewhere else where the weather will not ruin your business. People would rather buy ICE as it is useful enough to quench thirst though any drink that you put it to.Seriously, this heat is killing me. I never felt so warm in my entire life.  But at night, it gets colder sometimes, especially when it rains so hard, complete with lightning and thunder, lol..

Anyway, I would love a dip one of these days. Hopefully I could get away from the heat over the weekend. We'd buy lots of  ICE by then..

The Lappy

I mentioned previously that we were frequently out searching for Tatay's birthday gift, and well, we kinda found a little bit more than what we are looking for. Hehehe.. That's the product of waiting and waiting and looking around and waiting some more and looking and looking and looking---

Anyway, we passed by a shop that sell laptops and we found a really cute pink lappy with a very encouraging laptop warranty. However, since it was not our main task, we kind brushed it off and looked some more for Tatay's present.. I swear the lappy was really adorable and oh so tempting.. hahaha

Tatay's Birthday Gift

Sweet and I have frequented the men's clothing area of every department store in this city, in search for Tatay's birthday present. We just could not find the perfect style or the perfect color to match with Tatay's personality.  So today, I spoke with Auntie Grace and asked her what available perfume she has for sale, and she says she has Cool Water and Calvin Klein. Maybe we should just get Tatay a perfume if nothing ever comes to mind. But hey, that will be the last option yet.. We still have twenty days to go and search for the perfect gift..

Temptations Away..

These days, whenever we serve pork or beef and we drink Coke or Pepsi or any other soda, we get to think of health insurance in nc or any other health insurance as our intake of said foodies are known to cause so many illnesses. Well, too much of them anyway. We have all resolved to take them in moderation to keep fit, plus lots of MX3 tea to wash them off. Hahaha

But seriously, we have been watching what we eat, yet, when temptations  come a calling,  Humba, Lechon, and all other foodies all pop up on the dining table, lol. To balance, we also have lots of fruits on teh table these days.. Bananas, Mangosteen and many others..

Darrian's New Home

Darrian just arrived from Cali and invited me and Jen to have dinner at her newly acquired property in Bonbon some Saturdays ago. So sorry I could not share any photo as my phone died while we were there and no one else was interested to take snaps of ourselves at that time. Must be because we were all hungry when we arrived. Well, who wouldn't? The moment we entered their home, we could see all log furniture, and we could smell all the wonderful goodies on their log dining table. Mind you, the set up was so uniquely inviting. The house was just a few meters from the beach and the is made of wood and logs and Nipa. Such a huge Nipa Hut if you could just put it bluntly. But is more than that. The house is completely embellished and decorated rather in earthy tones. Everything is environmentally acceptable, yet sturdy and safe.

The food was great. The company the best. We were laughing and crying in between bites, hahaha..I think we shall go back there again..By then, I will take photos of the house to show you how great it looks.

Love That Equestrian..

We ordered Pizza from Biaños last weekend as we were watching a love story on video about an Equestrian who could not afford to buy his own riding boots, fell in love with a woman who gave him three pairs, only to find out that the pairs of boots were from the woman's dead husband who was an Equestrian himself, while he was still alive.

They were delicious, the two Pizzas we ordered. But what we hated was that, we finished the film, had a break and played card games and  when we started with another  film on video, that was when the pizzas were finally delivered at our gate.. And the driver, instead of apologizing, said that our location was way too far for him. Hmm.. What's the purpose of our delivery fee then?? Anyway, I have already filed a complaint at Biaños and I am sure he will be reprimanded.

Jill's Guinamos

I love "Guinamos" or salted fish paste or salted fish sauce. It is best partnered with Saba or boiled Sweet Potato. We usually have this when we go to the beach. By the way, I am reminded of this because of this photo I found at PinoyExchange.com, so yummy..
Anyway, I have a story about this dish and how my friend Jill is able to live comfortably because of them. Well, Jill wears expensive jewelries with diamonds, signature clothes and accessories like Prada, Channel and many others these days. And I mean signature. They are original items that people would drool for, and not imitations. And how can a woman whose business involves "Guinamos" be able to dress up so fashionably and expensive at that? "Guinamos" may be her bread and butter but her business of fifteen years have already evolved. She no longer sells them at her stalls in the market. She supplies them to her retailers and mind you, they are all over Mindanao already. She even has her label and sealers as her slated fish is vacuum sealed.

How did this happen? Well, if you ask Jill, she will tell you two things: A. Lots of  Tears and B. Lots of Mouths to feed. That is in fact her determination markers, so she succeeded.

Hamonada and Beans

We celebrated Balulang Fiesta last September 14, 2010 and although we had lots of visitors there were yet so much left overs. It's a positive thing, really.  See, my parents explanation why we have to celebrate Feasts like that of the Feast of the Holy Cross or the Sta. Cruz Fiesta or even the Feast of Saint Augustine, is because we are offering the saint part of our earnings. It's an offering that we also share to others who drop by to eat what you have offered on the table. It signifies bounty in the past, at present and in the future. Although it is not a good idea to spend so much for the banquet if your budget would not allow you to, it is always appreciated if a portion of your income is saved for said purpose.

Anyway, today is the 26th of September, twelve days after the said celebration. The last leftover we had has finally been eaten. Oops.. It's not a stale food or anything. It's Hamonada. It is after all, cured and will definitely stay longer even for a month, with proper refrigeration.

And my mom cooked four of them, of which, only two were touched. Prior to keeping the left over Hamonadas  refrigerated, they were actually heated, reheated and kept fresh by a reusable airtight container that sealed in the freshness. And they were actually divided in portions, as not all people would eat the same foodies at a time. So whoever wants to eat what, the food can be reheated in portions that the person can finish.

This morning, I opened the refrigerator and found that there is only one container that is left, so I rejoiced and decided to make a new viand out of it.

To make it more healthy, I added vegetable plus cubed Hamonada meat to my cooking. It's supposed to be Pork and String beans, but I kinda created a new recipe, Hamonada and String beans Soup. It was a hit during lunch. I love how the taste of the Hamonada is infused in the soup and how healthy it had become because of the string beans.

PRIZE CLAIMED..

My sister Sweet and I won in Missy Bon Bon's Facebook contest last July 25, where 21 of us LIKED a certain post at Missy Bon Bon's page. Actually, only eight were supposed to win, but I guess they could not quite figure out who the first eight were as 21 appeared all together so they made all of us win, lol..

We have put it on hold for quite a long time as prize can only be claimed at the Missy Bon Bon Lim Ket Kai branch, so even if we ate so many times at Missy Bon Bon Robinson's branch we were still unable to claim our prize, not until yesterday where we went to Lim Ket Kai branch for a snack, as it was nearest to our destination. So with the breads we bought, came our FREE scoop of  Missy Bon Bon Gelato.. Sweet and I both enjoyed our winnings.. yumyum..

I had the Missy Bon Bon Blueberry Gelato with my Missy Bon Bon Coffee Profiterols...
...
And Sweet chose to order Missy Bon Bon Cobblestone  with the Missy Bon Bon Stracciatella Gelato..

We also bought Missy Bon Bon Sweet Potato Breads for the people in the house, as well as the classic loaf bread to go with a pint of Missy Bon Bon Sans Rival Gelato..

Craving for SIOMAI sa TISA

>> Monday, September 27, 2010

My sister and I went to church yesterday and since we were in a hurry, we opted to go to Saint Augustine's instead of our parish or the usual church we go to to hear mass. It was 2 in the afternoon and well, there is mass every hour at Saint Augustine's so we went there.

Anyway, we were walking towards the church when we passed by this Siomai vendor's food cart.
And since I was craving for SIOMAI sa TISA, Cebu's best Siomai, I told my sister to try out this said Siomai after church, and see if it is yummy..
In the same spirit, it has the chili paste, calamansi and soy sauce to match the dumpling. We ordered just one set which is sold at P 10.00 only, and there were 3 pieces of dumplings already. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. The one above is SIOMAI sa TISA from a forum at Pinoyexchange.com, along with other photos of Cebu's best foodies..

Hmm.. Not bad for P 10.00, it's already filling and yes, it is yummy. The vendor said the owner of the Siomai business used to work at Chowking. Are we to assume that the recipe is from Chowking? Actually do NOT.. It's different from Chowking's as it has a taste of its own. It is of course NOT Siomai sa TISA, but like what I said, it's NOT BAD for P 10.00---

Here's the downside, do not put too much chili paste as it will really burn your tongue, hehehe.. Oh, but Manong vendor also sells soft-drinks so NO worries.. hehehe

Something to Ponder..

>> Sunday, September 26, 2010

At dinner today, my father told us about an old woman who is facing a dilemma about some case she filed. It's a Trasylol lawsuit or an Accutane lawsuit, I just can not remember. Anyway, I have heard so much of these kinds of lawsuit, and believe it or not, there are many others. It's just that many people nowadays are becoming more and more aware of what an Accutane Lawsuit is, and how beneficial it is for the victims. Well, if one is a victim, surely, it is but right to fight for ones rights. Justice will never be achieved unless one takes the first step..

In the US, O’Hanlon, McCollum & Demerath attorneys understand the implications and know that the injuries may not be the victim's fault but, possibly a dangerous side effect of Accutane. Thus, being uniquely well-equipped to handle even the most complex products liability claims, they offer victims a chance to seek out justice. So, anyone who suspect an Accutane injury such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis, should contact them for a free consultation.

Med Search

Over lunch today, Sofia mentioned about some medicines as well as some weight loss regimens. She also talked about Tramadol. Being a nutritionist as well as a dietitian, we all have our ears on her when she talks. We ask questions and verify her answers online too. That is the reason why I am fining myself at tramadol-onlinenoprescription.com and at t-r-a-m-a-d-o-l.com for Sofia told us to visit them to know more about Tramadol.

For those who do not know what Tramadol is, here are some info for you about the medication tramadol. Actually, it is a type of pain reliever that is meant for use by people who are under the effects of moderate to severe chronic pain  . This literally means that the pain is constant and this consistent pain is always in effect. Tramadol is given and taken by patients on a dosage schedule. And since it is meant to be used continually, patients resort to the cheapest they can find.

Whew.. At least I need not take that medicine. I always resort to massage and relaxation techniques when I am in pain, be it physically or emotionally. I bounce back and I feel good afterwards. Physical pain comes when I am also emotionally in pain and stressed out to the maximum.

How about you? How do you combat pain? Do you simply apply pain relievers or take Tramadol too? In theory, anything taken in proportion is okay. But too much of anything is also bad. So I guess if we do things in moderation, we will not be in pain.. Agree?

As to Sofia, darling, you really give us great information every time. Maybe next time we can do dinner and some more of these great learning? What do you think?

Well, till next time. do inform me ahead so I can prepare, okay dearie? hehehe I know you read my blogs..

Pasalubong Galore: Thanks Blue

These yummy chocolates were from the fruits of my cousin's hard work in UK. He had sent all of us relatives, chocolates and stuff  for pasalubong. Lili got a A Mermaid Tale Barbie doll added to her collection. And Sweet and I enjoyed the soaps and body wash. I had in mind that he has perhaps entered the gold business where his friend have told him to buy gold bars and sell them for greater profits. But he says that he is still thinking about it.

Anyway, these chocolates were truly delicious. There were nine kinds in the box and as you can see, they are well presented, as they were individually portioned.

Wanna know what they are? See description below:

That actually came in the box.. Love it.. Of course, the Toblerone was also for the taking---

A Picnic on Tatay's Birthday?

>> Thursday, September 23, 2010

Tatay's birthday falls on a Sunday and a family day at that. We have been contemplating on where to hold his simple birthday gathering. We could actually pack our Picnic Baskets and head south or north for a swim at the beach or some pool that the family will truly enjoy. We could also pack up some clothes and go for an overnight dip again at our favorite overnight pool spot. Or we could go for some simple cruise in Camiguin Islands..

Anyway, we are still waiting for next month as my sister won't be arriving till then.  The family will of course be complete so it calls for some celebration in a scale that we can afford to..  If  "Sheriff" will be kinder, I could donate even a leg of Lechon Baka for the occasion. That's not really necessary because Lechon Baboy is always affordable, but for a change, Lechon Baka would be good.

Well, let's just wait and see..

Keeping Pots and Pans Organized

>> Tuesday, September 21, 2010

I love a very organized kitchen. One where all wares and gadgets have their own specific areas or places to be placed in. If dishes and cups have the cupboard, cooking wares must also have a rack to place them to. And guess what? I saw something really nice like an enclume pot rack. Well, I know what an Enclume would look like as I have dome a research about how durable and useful enclume pot racks are.

Aside from usefulness, one thing to consider when choosing a pot rack is the capacity to withstand wear and tear, as the pots and pans are to be used daily or for as long as they are needed. I saw a house at ETC and I saw that the enclume potracks they have served so many purposes for them.Well, I am not particular about the brand, but, I was told that if it is Enclume, every space in your house shall be okay even without house help..

Manang Tessie: The Kakanin Lady

>> Friday, September 17, 2010

This is Manang Tessie. I always buy Kakanin from her. She actually makes some of her kakanin, while others were made by her daughter and daughter-in-law.

Above is her well arranged box of goodies that turns disarranged after we look into her foodies.

See, some of her goodies are underneath and my favorite, Kutsinta and Puto are more delicious if I pull them from the lowest or deepest part of the box, lol.. Proven and tested.. hehehe..

Anyway, I never let Manang Tessie leave without a sale. See, I pity hard working individuals making an honest living while others go about their money making as they cheat people. Below is what we usually buy from her.
I swear, they are so good.. Yummy..

The New Face of Big Ben's Burgers

Big Ben's burger is one of Cagayan de Oro City's famous buy one take one burgers and more.  They cater to the working crowd and students as they are very much affordable. Plus, it's buy one take one, so two can eat at the prize of one.  It had been in teh market for sometime now and well, it is only this year that they have improved their look. Their location is what I am talking about.

It is now more presentable than the old Big Ben's stall at that same spot. But then again, the menu is still posted on the glass.

But the dining space is now much more comfortable and relaxing for those who are opting to eat there..
But for us who just buys and leaves, it's still the same system..

Jo's Chicken Inato: Manokan

>> Thursday, September 16, 2010

This is the famous Jo's Chicken Inato at Manokan. It is an all time family favorite whenever we eat there. Of course, there's the Buko Halo for dessert..

These two are always on our list whenever we eat at Manokan. They are simply to die for..

Of course, on the night Lili was brought to the Madonna and Child Hospital for check up, we had dinner at Manokan before pushing through teh hospital agenda to have Lili checked for Dengue. . Apart from the two foodies, we also ordered Calamares.

And Esol, which we later found out was a drinker's beer-match made from deep fried chicken butt, lol..Nevertheless, they were good. We didn't finish all of them though, we simply tasted the Esol..
Oh well, with Lili complaining already, we didn't have a choice but to have the remaining foodies wrapped for take out. And swear, the first two foodies were never part of the take out, if you know what I mean..

A Mommy's Kitchen Aid..

Our neighbor, Roxanne, just celebrated her 50th birthday and for her birthday give away tokens, she prepared some recipe kits which actually has personalized note cards with matching recipes per page. It's lile a never ending thank you card that doubles as a recipe card. And she had them made a year ago for all her favorite guests. Of course, she only invited 25 people so it is not much actually. And all twenty five are mommies who are so busy but would love to sample all her foodies for each of their families.

My mom is one of her visitors so I was able to see the cards. They are actually very cute. It's a perfect mommy's kitchen aid.
